Terms of Use

By accessing or using the WeatherMe application ("WeatherMe", "the App", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Purpose of the App

WeatherMe provides weather information, forecasts, and user-initiated activity tracking features for informational and personal use only. The App does not provide professional, safety-critical, or emergency services.

2. User Accounts

You may be required to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

3. Location and Activity Tracking

3.1 User-Initiated Tracking

WeatherMe includes optional GPS-based activity tracking features. Location tracking only occurs when you explicitly start a tracking session (for example, by tapping "Start tracking"). We do not track your location silently or continuously.

3.2 What Is Collected During Tracking

  • GPS location points
  • Time and duration
  • Distance traveled
  • Calculated activity metrics (for example, average speed)
  • Route path displayed on the map

Tracking stops when you end the session or close the App.

3.3 Storage of Activity Data

Activity session data may be stored locally on your device and/or associated with your account so you can view past sessions, recall distance and time traveled, and review routes and summaries. You may delete activity data at any time using the App controls.

4. Permissions

The App will request access to device location services only when required for tracking or location-based features. You may disable location access at any time through your device settings, which may limit certain features.

5. Weather Data Disclaimer

Weather data and forecasts are provided for general informational purposes only. Weather conditions can change rapidly and may be inaccurate or incomplete.

You agree that WeatherMe is not a safety, navigation, or emergency service and you remain fully responsible for decisions made based on information provided by the App.

6. Acceptable Use

  • Do not use the App for unlawful purposes.
  • Do not interfere with or disrupt the App or its services.
  • Do not attempt to reverse engineer or misuse the App.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, software, and branding in WeatherMe are owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the App without permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WeatherMe is provided "as is". We are not liable for damages, losses, or injuries arising from use of the App, including reliance on weather data or activity tracking information.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the App if you violate these Terms.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
